ЕГЭ по английскому языку: механика успеха. Разделы «Письмо» и «Говорение»

Цель пособия — помочь учащимся 10—11 классов и преподавателям английского языка научиться качественно выполнять задания разделов «Письмо» и «Говорение» в ЕГЭ по английскому языку. Пособие будет полезно для школьных учителей, преподавателей частных школ, репетиторов и учащихся, которые готовятся к Единому Государственному экзамену по английскому языку.

Раздел 3. Говорение

Подготовка к работе с разделом «Говорение»

Раздел Говорение содержит в себе 4 задания; задания варьируются по сложности, и каждое из них оценивается в разное количество баллов.

Раздел 3.1. Задание 1 — Чтение текста вслух

Приведем пример задания 1 раздела говорение:

Albatrosses belong to the family of the most spectacular gliders of all birds. Their bodies and wings enable them to stay aloft in stormy weather for hours without actually flapping their massive wings a lot. Similar to other oceanic birds, albatrosses drink seawater. Despite the fact that they normally live on squid, they have been spotted accompanying ships and feeding on garbage. Albatrosses only come ashore to breed. Breeding occurs in colonies that are usually set on remote islands in the ocean, where groups and pairs show their mating behaviour. Both parents in turn incubate the single large white egg, which is laid on the bare ground. Young albatrosses grow very slowly. Albatrosses live long and may be among the few birds to die of old age. There are some kinds of albatrosses which are very well known — such as a black-browed albatross or a black-footed albatross.

2) Есть ли в тексте слово, которое ты совсем не знаешь? Если такое слово есть, и ты совсем не знаешь, как его прочесть, а повторяется это слово несколько раз — выбери один вариант произношения и читай это слово везде одинаково.

• Максимальный балл за это задание — 1, допускается не более 5 фонетических ошибок, в том числе 1—2 ошибки, искажающие смысл

ТРЕНИРОВОЧНЫЕ ЗАДАНИЯ:

1. Imagine that you are preparing a project with your friend. You have found some interesting material for the presentation and you want to read this text to your friend. You have 1.5 minutes to read the text silently, then be ready to read it out aloud. You will not have more than 1.5 minutes to read it.

Shrek is a popular animated movie that was released in 2001. The story is about an ogre named Shrek who lives alone in a swamp. One day, his peaceful life is disrupted when a group of fairy-tale creatures are sent to live in his swamp by the evil Lord. Along the way, Shrek meets Donkey, a talkative and funny donkey who becomes his sidekick. They encounter many obstacles on their journey to save Princess Fiona, including a band of merry men and a fight with the dragon. The movie has become a classic and is loved by both children and adults. It has spawned three sequels, a spin-off movie, and a Broadway musical. The character of Shrek has become an icon and is recognized around the world. The movie’s success can be attributed to its humor, heart, and memorable characters. Shrek is not your typical hero, but he has a kind heart and learns to accept himself for who he is. Princess Fiona is also a strong and independent character who doesn’t need a prince to save her.

2. Imagine that you are preparing a project with your friend. You have found some interesting material for the presentation and you want to read this text to your friend. Dagestan is a mountainous area in Russia, known for its breathtaking scenery and indigenous culture. The region is home to many different ethnic groups. Each group has its own unique traditions and cuisine, making Dagestan a fascinating place to visit. The cuisine in Dagestan is heavily influenced by the Caucasus region, with many dishes featuring herbs and spices like coriander, dill and etc. Aside from the delicious food, Dagestan is also home to many beautiful villages. One such village is Kubachi, which is known for its traditional silver jewelry and handicrafts. Another village, Gunib, is famous for its historic fortress and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The majority of the population in Dagestan is Muslim, and there are many mosques throughout the region. The biggest mosque can hold up to 10,000 worshippers and features intricate designs and beautiful calligraphy.

3. Imagine that you are preparing a project with your friend. You have found some interesting material for the presentation and you want to read this text to your friend. You have 1.5 minutes to read the text silently, then be ready to read it out aloud. You will not have more than 1.5 minutes to read it.

Cesca is a chair that is famous all around the world. The history of the Cesca chair started in 1928 when its creator, Marcel Breuer, a talented architect wanted to design a chair that would be both comfortable, beautiful and elegant. Breuer got the inspiration from a bicycle. The story began when Breuer brought home his first bike. The architect was stunned by the level of comfort of the bike, despite the fact that it was a bit old and rusty. The bike’s handlebars could bend like macaroni — and Breuer wanted to achieve this in chair design. This idea remained in the architect’s head for a long time, and then he made the decision to apply it. Commenting on this design, he kept mentioning that he wanted something lightweight. He also wanted the frame to be elastic and make something modern. The chair is fixed upon a curved steel tube and has a 1-inch diameter. To protect the floor from scratching, the base has plastic snaps attached to it.

Раздел 3.2. Задание 2 — условный диалог-расспрос

Приведем пример задания 2 раздела говорение:

Task 2. Study the advertisement. Visit our Sunday market!

You are considering visiting a Sunday market in your town and now you’d like to get more information. In 1.5 minutes you are to ask four direct questions to find out about the following:

1) opening hours

2) parking facilities nearby

3) variety of goods on sale

4) if hot drinks are available

You have 20 seconds to ask each question.

Перед началом работы ответь на следующие вопросы:

1) О чем необходимо задать вопросы?

2) Какие именно вопросы необходимо задать?

3) Сколько времени отводится на подготовку к этому заданию?

4) Сколько времени отводится на каждый вопрос?

Мы рекомендуем учащимся отвечать на эти вопросы каждый раз перед работой над заданием 2.

Напомним нашим читателям некоторые данные о задании 2:

• В задании требуется задать 4 прямых вопроса — это значит, что вопросы, которые начинаются со слов Could you tell me about…? (Например, Could you tell me about the opening hours of the market?) приняты не будут. В свою очередь, вопрос Could you tell me what the opening hours of the market are? будет принят и засчитан как верный

• На подготовку отводится 1,5 минуты и 20 секунд отводится на каждый вопрос. В каждом слоте длиной в 20 секунд необходимо задать только 1 вопрос

• Если учащийся задал вопрос и понял, что допустил ошибку, а время на этот вопрос еще не истекло — можно исправиться и еще раз полностью задать вопрос. Проверяющими будет засчитан последний озвученный в слоте вариант

• В первом вопросе обязательно упомянуть место/мероприятие/вещь, о которой будут заданы остальные вопросы. Например, в тренировочном задании на прошлой странице первый вопрос должен звучать так: What are the opening hours of the Sunday market? Если бы вопрос звучал What are the opening hours?, он бы не был засчитан как верный

ТРЕНИРОВОЧНЫЕ ЗАДАНИЯ:

1. Task 2. Study the advertisement. Summer Jazz festival!

You are considering going to a jazz festival and now you’d like to get more information. In 1.5 minutes you are to ask four direct questions to find out about the following:

1) duration

2) cost of a 3-day ticket

3) artists performing

4) discounts for families

You have 20 seconds to ask each question.

2. Task 2. Study the advertisement. Visit the new shop!

You are considering food shopping in a new shop and now you’d like to get more information. In 1.5 minutes you are to ask four direct questions to find out about the following:

1) location

2) directions to shop

3) if it is possible to try food before buying

4) availability of paper bags

You have 20 seconds to ask each question.

3. Task 2. Study the advertisement. Visit our train museum!

You are considering going to a train museum and now you’d like to get more information. In 1.5 minutes you are to ask four direct questions to find out about the following:

1) opening hours

2) admission fee

3) number of exhibits

4) souvenir shop

You have 20 seconds to ask each question.

Раздел 3.3 Задание 3 — Интервью

Приведем пример задания 3 раздела говорение:

Task 3. You are going to give an interview. You have to answer five questions.

Give full answers to the questions (2—3 sentences).

Remember that you have 40 seconds to answer each question.

NB: На экзамене учащиеся не видят вопросов, а слышат их через наушники только 1 раз. Задания ниже приводятся для примера, другие подобные задания в данном пособии будут приведены в записи.

Interviewer: Hello everybody! It’s Teenagers Round the World Channel. Our guest today is a teenager from Russia and we are going to discuss teenagers’ attitude to different hobbies. We’d like to know our guest’s point of view on this issue. Please answer five questions. So, let’s get started.

Interviewer: What are the most popular hobbies among the teenagers in your region? Have you ever tried these hobbies?

Мы рекомендуем учащимся отвечать на эти вопросы каждый раз перед работой над заданием 3.

• В задании требуется ответить на 5 вопросов — это значит, что необходимо дать полный и точный ответ на все вопросы, которые были заданы

• На подготовку не дается дополнительного времени

• Если учащийся ответил на вопрос и понял, что допустил ошибку, а 40 секунд на ответ еще не истекло — можно исправиться и еще раз полностью ответить на вопрос (ы). Проверяющими будет засчитан последний озвученный вариант

• При ответе на вопросы необходимо максимально полно и точно ответить на все заданные вопросы, соблюдая необходимую грамматическую форму. При допущении базовых грамматических ошибок даже на один из нескольких вопросов в слоте ответ засчитан не будет

Раздел 3.4 Задание 4 — Задание 4 (обоснование выбора иллюстраций к проектной работе и выражение своего мнения по её проблематике)

Приведем пример задания 4 раздела говорение:

Task 4. Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project «Different hobbies». You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project.

In 2.5 minutes be ready to:

• explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;

• mention the advantages (1—2) of the two hobbies;

• mention the disadvantages (1—2) of the two hobbies;

• express your opinion on the subject of the project — which of the hobbies presented in the pictures you’d prefer and why.

You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12—15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Мы рекомендуем учащимся отвечать на эти вопросы каждый раз перед работой над заданием 4.

Напомним нашим читателям некоторые данные о задании 4:

• В задании требуется записать голосовое сообщение другу. По заданию, учащийся нашел фотографии, подходящие для проекта, но не может поделиться ими прямо сейчас из-за технических проблем

• В этом голосовом сообщении необходимо дать исчерпывающую информацию о том, что из себя представляют фотографии, чем отличаются, почему они подходят для проекта; далее следует привести преимущества и недостатки того, чем занимаются или того, что изображено на фото

• На подготовку отводится 2,5 минуты

• Пункт, где учащегося просят выразить свое мнение, имеет три разных вариации: you prefer, you’d prefer и you preferred as a child. При ответе необходимо употребить именно ту форму, которая была указана в задании, например, as a child I preferred или I would prefer…

• Для полноценного ответа на задание и получения высокого балла от учащегося ожидается 12—15 фраз (грамматических основ), в которых максимально полно отражены все аспекты задания, соблюдается организация высказывания, а языковое оформление высказывания соответствует уровню владения языком В2 и выше.

Далее мы приводим пример готового ответа на задание 4, в котором жирным шрифтом выделены слова и выражения, которые мы предлагаем для постоянного использования при выполнении задания 4. Вы можете изменить его, как вам нравится, а можете использовать для своих ответов целиком.

Hi Rob! As you might remember, we are currently working on a project about different hobbies and we need a couple of pictures for it. Well, I have found the pictures, but I cannot send them to you right now — I think there are some technical issues. Anyway, I will tell you about these snaps and share my ideas with you in this voice message.

As for the first picture, it represents some children playing board games. I think they are in the classroom as they are clearly sitting at the desks. The second picture shows some LEGO set on the table, there is a hand next to it and i think there is a person behind the camera who is excited to start putting this LEGO set together. Nothing much is happening in the picture, and as for the location — it is clearly some room or probably a classroom.

I believe that these pictures are perfect for our project as they represent different hobbies that people often take up.
